Today, I went to a hot yoga trial class. Yoga will only be a core building for climbing but hot yoga was very relaxing and felt very good:) I also hope for more flexibility which also will lead to better climbing! Not only a trial but I became a member and bought few tickets for hot yoga, then later on, I can do it by myself at home.
I always think what the other climbers in the gym are doing when they are not in the gym... Myself? I either go out for drink or jog out. Well jogging is for climbing purposes so I basically think only about climbing...
Today I attended my colleague from US who's visiting Japan for a biz trip. We had some nice Japanese food at Shinagawa. Then I was to meet with T and M for some drink at Shibuya so I went. After landing at Shibuya, I thought that the things I see in Shibuya is so much different from what I see and do while climbing... So I took out my cell phone camera and took a snap shot of Shibuya's Center Street. Looking at the crowd and the neons, I get sooooo tired:(
This weekend sucked coz of the stupid rain.... Why does it rain in the weekend, come on!! So I went to gym and climbed:) Also went out to eat Okinawa food and drank tones of Awamori, a kind of shochu made in Okinawa. Awamori is famous for higher alcohol content than the shochu and of course is good taste.
Since I got back from US, I have been trying to drink this Healthya Water, which contains many catechin, which supposively works on burning your fat. It usually contains heavily in Japanese tea but when we try to gain catechin from tea, it is very bitter.... So that is why I drink from Healthya Water:) Today I found a new taste of acerola and was a limited edition. Taste was okay but I would hoped it had more Vitamin C in it, otherwise the sale would boost. Oh well, it will only be a limited edition so we won't see it soon...
Sorry for my lazyness... I had many things to take care but I thought I have to write my blog because I start to hear that people are actually reading my blog. I am pretty happy and appreciated about people, especially climbers, are reading the blog. Thanks all for reading it:)
Finished Eihabu Sencho (1 Kyu). This is one of the top famous 1 Kyu in Japan or a standard 1 Kyu for Japanese Grading System. The crooks are when you get the right hand sloper and the topout. The key for shorter people are the kneeing at the top which is super scary... But oh well, I have done this route so I will be free in Ogawayama:)
This is my first trip to Ogawayama. Of course, my goal is Eihabu Sencho (1 Kyu) which is the standard 1 Kyu grade in Japan. However at the end, I could not finish the problem because of the humidity and the wetness of the rock. By the way, Ogawayama is granite and is fine sand paper like boulders.
For this trip I was able to finish Imohori (1 Kyu), Imohori means potato digging. The reason why the problem is potato digging is that the feet hold is under the fallen leaves and climber have to take away the leaves to gain the feet hold. Many poeple had session and finished the probelm:) We all called Potato Digging Festival, ahahaha....
Second day, I tried Mikaduki Hang (1 Kyu) but no luck... I will probably be able to finish the next time.
